This small, friendly College is well located in a pleasant residential area of south-west Manchester, close to Manchester University, with easy access to motorway networks, intercity rail and coach services and Manchester International Airport. The family atmosphere of the College owes much to the mature surroundings of the Victorian house which has been its home since 1919 and extended to meet increasing needs.
The College offers quality childcare training on both a daily and residential basis. The two-year course leads to: The Diploma in Nursery Nursing (NNEB) and The Princess Christian Certificate and also provides the underpinning knowledge for Childcare NVQ at Level II and III, for which the assessment can be provided. In addition to the theoretical input, students experience a wide variety of practical training placements. Students are accepted from the age of 16+ and must have achieved a minimum of three GCSE passes at Grade A, B or C including English Language.
